Today's card is was made for my dear dad. Always the fixer upper, My most treasured memory of him is the renos he did in my kitchen. He was obviously in his glory too, because when as day of sawing, pounding nails, and rewiring was over, he'd slump on the couch with a bag of potato chips and watch some television. He reminded me of a teenager then...but that was a few years ago. My dad is 80 now. The years have taken their tole...but on to the card. For this card I used some brown leather paper that, to my delight was two sided. I had two really nice colours of brown to work with and I had a hard time choosing which should go where. Both the paper and the tools I bought through kijiji, some gal was destashing a lot of her scrapbooking colllection and i jumped at the chance to grab a bargain. You'd have done the same, right?
